The staff

To carry out all its missions, the Fehr company brings together a staff of almost 200, divided up between the Fehr Concrete division, the Fehr Technologies division, the Fehr Services division, the Quality Department and the Administrative Departments. They all share the same company spirit that is resolutely turned towards the "sites".

 




     
 
Production

• With 9 mixing plants, including one that is mobile, Fehr concrete is never far from your sites. In Alsace, there are 5 sites for production of ready-mixed concrete together with a mixing plant for special types of concrete for mortar, screeds, and coloured concrete. In Lorraine, one site exclusively produces Fehr Green Concrete in Moyeuvre, and the other production site for ready-mixed concrete is called BSL; it is in Custines, near Nancy.
Do you have a major site with access by waterway? No problem: Fehr has even designed a mobile concrete mixing plant on a barge.


• Prefabrication: mastery of an innovation
Industrialized manufacturing of concrete elements is carried out by two fully automated units with ISO 9002 certification. One is located in Bischwiller and the other one was recently set up in VERNOU, in the Paris Region.

 
     
 
Design support

Fehr has its own design office, whose engineers can provide you with assistance from the study phase to the alignment drawings, for optimized use of all the products whose manufacture will be coordinated with logistics and delivery on the site.

 
     
 
Construction

To ensure full mastery of new techniques and real transfer of skills, Fehr has set up a construction department. It is a real life-size laboratory based in Reichshoffen, and its 7 teams are entrusted with using innovative products in all types of constructions. These teams can provide on-site support for building firms, most of it consisting of practical application of the Fehr solutions, which are always made to measure.
     
 
Logistics

It is difficult to speak of performance without real logistical strength. Fehr has known this for a long time. Over the years, the company has built up a unique fleet of haulage and other equipment. Lorries with bulk tanks for cement, trailers with autonomous unloading equipment for precast wall elements, 35 ready-mixed concrete lorries, 7 pumps (including one with a reach of 45 m) and 2 barges to provide you with the right solution at the right time!

 
     
 
Quality

Drawing up quality assurance plans, management of quality controls, ensuring compliance with standards, studies for specific products … the Quality Department has many missions, but they all have the same objective: to provide you with the assurance of efficient performance in all safety.
